Communicating with Honesty and Dignity
A guided introduction to The Circle of Reciprocity
This free, online, 45-minute, introductory session is designed for leaders, coaches, facilitators, and reflective individuals who are looking for ways to communicate with honesty and dignity.
The quality of our conversations is shaped by what we bring into them: the beliefs we hold, our capacity to stay present, and the ways we respond to one another in real time.
In many communication trainings and frameworks, communication is treated as a set of techniques, what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. While those things matter, they are not enough.
The quality of our relationships is shaped by something more fundamental: how we show up.
When we shift how we show up, the conversation shifts.
When the conversation shifts, the relationship shifts.
When relationships shift, what becomes possible begins to shift as well.
The Circle of Reciprocity is a practical framework for communicating with honesty and dignity.
It is built around:
Three roles that shape how we participate in conversation
Three mindsets that shape how we enter into relationship
Five skills that support how we engage once we are there
Together, these form a practice, one rooted in reciprocity, shared responsibility, and the belief that we are always influencing and being influenced by how we show up with one another. It is about learning how to participate in conversation in ways that invite greater honesty, dignity, and possibility.
